Updates Gallore - Improvements to Linux-Help

I've been doing a bit of work on updating things on my servers and it's all good stuff I think! In fact, I did all this while I was sick and after a long trip down to Florida to be basically Uber companion for my mother-in-law to drive from Canada back down to Florida and fly back home from there.

Git and Pastebin

The simplest part is that Forgejo was updated to the latest stable build, that's the usual stuff though. What's more interesting is the new links I added to the top navigation to the new stuff. Gist, which links to the new gist-like clone I now run, OpenGist, and even better, if you have an account on the git server, you easily already have an account on the OpenGist server also thanks to sinle-sign-on. The other one is the removal of PrivateBin for a generic pastebin to RustyPaste which doesn't have it's own form field to use anymore, reducing the number of bots and also allows you to upload small images and other files with some level of ease, much like 0x0.st was allowing before they shut down due to the excess of LLM bots. Respectively, you can find these new service sites at Gist and Pastebin.

Image Bin

In addition to the new pastebins, I've added a very specific imgur-like pastebin specific for images. You can find that at ImageBin. Hopefully these tools help you out like they do help me at times. :)

Other Changes In-Progress

I've slowly but surely been moving a lot of things over from dedicated server instance VM's to being part of my secured Docker Swarm cluster, including the new paste services mentioned above. These allow for versatile deployment and maintenance for me, so some things I'm still looking into is how to manage some things still in these servers, including this very blog, which mind you used to be Wordpress, but after previous recent attacks against my blog by unknown actors, has moved entirely to Publii and statically generated html, which is super cool, super fast and... Still here and accessable to all!

I'm still trying to find a reasonable alternative to Grav CMS especially now with the forced migration from 1.7 to 2.x for the next generation, however, I'm actually finding that maybe Grav CMS is still the best solution for it. So far, it's the only CMS that makes sense for what it's capable of doing both in page handling and overall site design, including navigation control. I've tried so many other flatfile-based CMS engines, and while they allow you to make content, they don't always have the ability to do much more than that.

That said, I've already almost got the main website into the Docker Swarm cluster, but I'm holding back actually making of fully official, until I've looked into the 2.x issue.  Might as well keep it future proof if I'm going to use it, right?
